We've had an amazing five years - in 2019 we took control of Chelmsford City Council, in 2022 we gained our first councillor in over 20 years in Maldon, in 2023 we retained control of Chelmsford City Council and became the official opposition on Maldon District Council. And in 2024 we elected Marie Goldman as Chelmsford's first ever Liberal Democrat MP.

But there is still work to do - so many of the problems our residents face are down to the incompetent mismanagement of services by Conservative-run Essex County Council. In May we have a chance to beat them - but we need to build an even bigger team to do that.
