We've had an amazing six years - in 2019 we took control of Chelmsford City Council, in 2022 we gained our first councillor in over 20 years in Maldon, in 2023 we retained control of Chelmsford City Council and became the official opposition on Maldon District Council. And in 2024 we elected Marie Goldman as Chelmsford's first ever Liberal Democrat MP.

But there is still work to do - whilst the Conservatives and Labour have contrived to cancel elections to Essex County Council in 2025, we still have by-elections to fight and teams to build so we can win when elections to new unitary councils happen.
