Playground Improvements

10 Apr 2024

As part of Lib Dem-run Chelmsford City Council’s commitment to improving playgrounds, the play area at Waterhouse Street has seen a much needed upgrade to some of the surface around the play equipment and new fencing.

The new flooring will make the space a better place for children to play and the new, lower level fence at the back of the playground will help to make the area more open and deter anti-social behaviour.

Cllrs Jennie Lardge and Nora Walsh have been continuing to liaise with residents and council officers to make a plan for the future of the green space. Discussions are ongoing about how it can best be managed for the future benefit of all and changes to the planting and management of vegetation are planned.
